ORGANISATIONAL ACTIVITIES

Organised the National Seminar on “Post Colonial State” in association  with DCRC, University of Delhi.

Organising Committee of DCRC, University of Delhi for the National Seminar on “Decentralization and Autonomy with special Reference to the North East”.

Organising Committee of the DCRC for the “International Conference on Wounded History And Social Healing”.

Founded a Saturday Intellectual Club in the college which holds discussions on important themes every Saturday.

Organising the three day long Annual Cultural Festival of the College – Rajnigandha  1996-2010

Organised  several functions in the college including Freshers’ Welcome Orientation Programme Function and the Annual Prize Distribution Function.

 

INSTITUTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

In charge of the Art & Culture Association of the College  1995-96 to 2009-10. During this period the college has emerged as one of the best centers for extra-curricular activities in all fields- Music, Drama, Western Dance, Fork Dance, Fine Arts, etc.

Worked as Member of F.I.N.A (Forum For International and National Awarness) which looks after all the co-curricular activities of the College.

Worked as Member of Students’ Union Advisory Committee, Sports Committee, NSS Advisory Committee, Academic Planning Committee, Library Committee and Time Table Committee of the Staff Council of the college.

Represented the college at various Forums/Meetings in the University as well as the UGC.

As Convenor of the college Committee, he had prepared, presented and defended our Proposals for the 11th  Plan period before the UGC Committee.

As teacher’ Representative on the Governing Body of the college, he contributed in the finalization of specifications of our Auditorium.

He has been compiling and writing the annual report on all the activities of the teachers and students of the college for 2 years. The report is published in the college Magazine and is also sent to the University.

He has been the looking with designing and publication of the college Prospectus   7-8 years.
